*Advice on LOOKING AFTER YOURSELF. You need to get to know the business, look out for scams and tricky situations. Never be pushed into doing anything you are uncomfortable with. Being careful when being asked to sign contracts and hand over money. Be able to get yourself safely to and from jobs and be streetwise.

*We will guide you on how to PREPARE for photoshoots. For example what clothing, accessories
and make-up to take and tips on styling.

*How to POSE and posture. There are different poses for different styles of modelling. You need to know which poses are suitable for which photoshoots/brands.

*TYPES OF MODELLING- We will explain the different types of modelling – Editorial, Commercial, Bodyparts, Promotional and Glamour. We will help you decide which one you want to specialise in or are most suited to. This could depend on your height, size, shape or age for example.

*Advice on being SELF-EMPLOYED. How to go about registering as self-employed. Advice on keeping books/accounts, doing self-assessments and paying National Insurance.

*Help and advice on MAKE-UP and HAIR. What make-up you need to own and advice on keeping your hair style maintained.

*ARRANGE & ATTEND YOUR PHOTOSHOOT with our in house photographer. We will be there to help you on your shoot…how to pose,put your outfits together,create different looks etc.

*Help CHOOSING PHOTOS. After your photoshoot we will help you pick out the best shots to have printed

*Help deciding on an AGENCY and help with casting techniques.

*A six page list of reputable model agencies/useful contacts and the Model Mentor Manual.
